Implementation

Adopting a microservices architecture deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), we integrated Azure IoT Hub for secure vehicle telemetry ingestion via LTE/5G modems, Event Hubs for event streaming, and Azure Functions for serverless processing of real-time updates.

Our team of 12 — including project managers, architects, native developers, and DevOps — focused on native mobile apps with offline sync and hybrid LTE/5G support, a real-time web dashboard (WebSockets), and integrations for RFID and email notifications. We ensured zero-downtime deployments using CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and Terraform IaC, achieving 99.9% uptime from day one.
